Join me for a live online workshop where we'll be drawing this Tabby Cat Fur section together in coloured pencils.
 
I'll guide you through every step of the way drawing this Tabby Cat Fur, detailing the supplies and techniques I'll be using.
 
The live workshop will include a real-time drawing demonstration, where you can hear my thought processes and draw along at home with me, listening to the questions asked along the way.
 
No matter where you are in the world, you can tune in and create a drawing you'll be proud of! The live video will be recorded for those who can't attend the scheduled time, and can be reffered back to at any point.
 
Upon purhcase, you will recieve an email with a downloadable PDF which will include the line drawing, reference photo and additional details about the workshop. You will also include a link to the scheduled live video on YouTube where you can interact with the live chat and ask questions.
 
You will need to prepare your own supplies ahead of the workshop to ensure you can follow along. Here are the supplies I'll be using:
 
Coloured Pencils:
 
All pencils are Faber Castell Polychromos, but feel free to use whatever coloured pencils you have so you can still take part.
 
Ivory - 103
Dark Sepia - 175
Nougat - 178
Black - 199
Warm Grey II - 271
Burnt Umber - 280
 
Paper:

I'm using a 3.5" x 3.5"  Fabriano Artistico Hot Pressed Watercolour Paper in 640GSM for this workshop, but feel free to use the 300GSM version, or an alternate paper if you don't have access to Fabriano.
 
I recommend using a surface that allows for lots of layers, and works well with a craft knife to scratch the top layers off at the end. Strathmore Bristol Vellum from the 300 Series would be a cheaper alternative.
 
Additional Tools:
 
Slice Manual Pen Cutter or Craft Knife
 
Alternatively, you could use a standard craft knife to add lighter hairs at the end, or a tiny eraser such as the Tombow Mono Zero to life the colour off.
 
If you don't have these exact supplies, please don't feel discouraged from getting involved. Use whatever you have access to and find similar colours, art is unique and individual anyway!

I'll be using washi tape around the edges of the drawing area to create a crisp line, make sure to add extra space at each side for tape if you're using any!
