OWL EYE TUTORIAL
FUNDAMENTALS
Draw a focus study of this owl eye with me in coloured pencils. Key techniques are how to feathers.
PAPER
I use Fabriano Artistico hot pressed watercolour paper 640GSM for this tutorial which has a texture to it. Alternatively, I recommend the 300GSM Fabriano which is cheaper, or start out with a paper such as Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Vellum as it's perfect for beginners.
