FUNDAMENTALS

Draw this vibrant, warm sunflower with me where I guide you through every step to achieve a realistic botanical drawing. Key techniques I'll teach you are how to draw petals and leaves.

PAPER

I use Canson Moulin Du Roy hot pressed watercolour paper for this tutorial. Alternatively, I recommend starting out with a paper such as Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Vellum as it's perfect for beginners.
